PES is an amorphous thermoplastic high-performance material with very high dimensional stability, is flame-retardant and self-extinguishing. PES has very low smoke development and good resistance to high-energy radiation.

Properties

PES is an amorphous thermoplastic high-performance material with very high dimensional stability, is flame-retardant and self-extinguishing. PES has very low smoke development and good resistance to high-energy radiation.

Processing

PES can be machined with conventional machines and tools. PES can be processed in numerous ways, e.g. turning, milling, sawing, planing, drilling or waterjet cutting. The material is used among other things in parts that must withstand high temperatures or high mechanical loads.
