Properties
PP has the lowest density of all the plastics, but has comparatively high heat distortion resistance. PP has a higher stiffness and good welding properties. It is also very resistant to corrosion.
Processing
PP can be machined with conventional machines and tools. PP can be processed in numerous ways, e.g. turning, milling, punching, sawing, planing, drilling or waterjet cutting.
