PTFE has excellent slip properties at a low coefficient of friction and has good resistance to chemical substances and solvents. Furthermore, PTFE is physiologically safe and has very good insulating properties. PTFE has a thermal application range of -200°C to +260°C. PTFE is also available with 25 % glass fiber or carbon fiber.
