PVDF

PVDF is a high-molecular polymer based on vinylidene fluoride and is characterized by excellent chemical resistance, high temperature resistance and good machinability. It can be used in many different applications.

Processing

PVDF can be machined with conventional machines and tools. PVDF can be processed in numerous ways, e.g. turning, milling, sawing, planing, drilling or waterjet cutting. The material is used among other things for parts that must withstand high temperatures, are subject to high loads or require very good chemical resistance.
